Synopsis:

Prohibiting the Dorchester County State's Attorney from engaging in the private practice of law at any time in any jurisdiction; prohibiting the State's Attorney from appearing professionally in any criminal proceeding in the State except in connection with specified duties; authorizing the State's Attorney to appoint and provide for the salaries, compensation, and legal powers of deputy or assistant State's Attorneys; authorizing an allowance for specified expenses; etc.
