Protection Act
Establishing the crime of assault against specified law enforcement
officers as an assault in the second degree; prohibiting a person from
intentionally causing physical injury to another knowing or having
reason to know that the other is a law enforcement officer engaged in
the performance of official duties; providing that the District Court
has jurisdiction that is concurrent with a circuit court in criminal
cases involving assault against law enforcement officers; etc.
