Hospital Infections Disclosure Act

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to collect data on hospital-acquired infection rates from hospitals; requiring the Department to adopt specified regulations governing submission of hospital-acquired infection rate data; establishing an advisory committee to assist the Department in the collection of data on hospital-acquired infection rates from hospitals; providing for membership of the advisory committee; establishing the duties of the advisory committee; etc.
