Synopsis:

Authorizing a consumer to request that a consumer reporting agency permanently block the reporting of specified information under specified circumstances; requiring a consumer protection agency to permanently block the reporting of specified information and notify a consumer of the effective date of a block on specified information within a specified time period under specified circumstances; authorizing a consumer reporting agency to decline or rescind a block under specified circumstances; etc.
