Dental Hygiene - Administration of Anesthesia

Synopsis:

Altering the definition of dental hygiene to include the administration of specified local anesthesia under specified circumstances; authorizing the State Board of Dental Examiners to adopt specified regulations; altering the authority of the Board to adopt rules and regulations concerning the administration of specified local anesthesia by licensed dental hygienists; and authorizing specified dental hygienists to administer anesthesia under specified circumstances; etc.
