Entitled:
Teachers' and Local Employees' Retirement Enhancement Act of 2005

Synopsis:

Providing for an alternate pension selection under the contributory pension benefit for members of the Teachers' Pension System; amending the definition of "earnable compensation" for members of the Teachers' Retirement System and the Teachers' Pension System; altering the formula used to calculate the normal service retirement allowances of retirees of the Teachers' Retirement System and the Teachers' Pension System as of July 1, 2005; etc.
