Labor and Employment - Retaliatory Action for Testifying on Pending Legislation - Prohibition

Synopsis:

Prohibiting specified employers from taking specified actions against employees who take authorized leave to testify on legislation being considered by the General Assembly; authorizing specified employees to bring an action against an employer that violates specified provisions of the Act; requiring an action under specified provisions of the Act to be filed within 3 years after the act on which the action is based; etc.
