Vehicle Laws - Drunk Driving - Second or Subsequent Offense - Mandatory Ignition Interlock

Synopsis:

Requiring a court to prohibit, for up to 3 years, a person convicted of, or granted probation for, specified second or subsequent alcohol-related driving offenses from operating a motor vehicle that is not equipped with an ignition interlock system; and establishing that prior convictions of specified alcohol-related offenses are to be considered specified alcohol-related convictions for the application of subsequent offender penalties under the Act.
