Consumer Protection - Consumer Reporting Agencies - Restriction on
Furnishing Information
Prohibiting a consumer reporting agency from furnishing information in
a consumer's file to a specified person for a period of 6 months if
the consumer reporting agency receives specified written notice from
the consumer; authorizing the consumer, at any time during the 6-month
period, to authorize the consumer agency to furnish information in the
consumer's file to a specified person by providing written notice to
the consumer reporting agency; etc.
