Maryland Home Care Services - Personal Care Providers - Reimbursement, Training, and Benefits

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to reimburse personal care providers specified amounts for personal care services provided under the Maryland Medical Assistance Program; requiring the Department to develop a specified training program for personal care providers that provide services under the Program; requiring the Department, in consultation with representatives of a public institution of higher education in the State, to develop and implement a curriculum for the training program on or before July 1, 2006; etc.
