Nursing Facilities - Quality Assessment - Medicaid Reimbursement

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to impose a quality assessment on specified nursing facilities; providing for the terms of the assessment; requiring a specified assessment to be paid to the State Comptroller at a specified time; providing that the payment of the assessment by the nursing facility shall be based on specified net receipts; requiring the Department to use the amounts collected to fund reimbursements to nursing facilities under the Medicaid program; etc.
