Marriage - Confidential Communications - Child Abuse or Sexual Crime Involving a Minor Victim

Synopsis:

Providing that a spouse is competent to disclose a confidential communication between the spouses occurring during their marriage regarding the commission of child abuse or specified sexual crimes involving a minor victim and may be compelled to testify as an adverse witness at a trial involving such charges.
