Supersedeas Bonds - Limitation on Amount and Expedited Appeal

Synopsis:

Limiting to $75,000,000 the amount of a supersedeas bond required to stay the execution of the compensatory damages portion of a judgment in specified actions; providing for a specified exception; providing for an expedited appeal to the Court of Special Appeals in specified actions if the supersedeas bond exceeds $75,000,000; etc.
