Veterans Advocacy and Education Act of 2006

Synopsis:

Establishing the Veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq Conflicts Scholarship; altering eligibility requirements for the Edward T. Conroy Memorial Scholarship Program; establishing a specified death benefit for Maryland residents serving in the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts; establishing the Outreach and Advocacy Program in the Department of Veterans Affairs; requiring the Program to help veterans and their dependents access specified benefits; establishing the Task Force to Study State Assistance to Veterans; etc.
