Public Health - Maryland Cord Blood Bank

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to establish a Maryland Cord Blood Bank; providing for the purpose of the Bank; requiring the Department to develop and disseminate educational materials concerning the value, uses, and donation of umbilical cord blood; requiring the Governor to include sufficient funds in the State budget in a specified fiscal year and each subsequent fiscal year; etc.
