Election Administration and the Recruitment and Retention of Election Judges

Synopsis:

Requiring that public institutions of higher education in the State be closed for normal academic activities on general election day; requiring specified institutions to be open to accommodate voting on specified election days; requiring the governing body of each public institution of higher education to consider specified matters and policies; requiring local boards of elections to establish polling places at higher education institutions; authorizing local boards to appoint election judges to serve for all or part of a day; etc.
