Maryland Automobile Insurance Fraud Act

Synopsis:

Prohibiting specified persons from employing or acting as a runner with the intent to falsely or fraudulently obtain benefits under a contract of insurance or assert a specified claim against an insured or an insurer for providing specified services; prohibiting a person, for 60 days after the date of a motor vehicle accident, from inspecting or obtaining a copy of a motor vehicle accident report from a law enforcement agency under specified circumstances; etc.
