State Employees - Whistleblower Protection

Synopsis:

Prohibiting an agent of a supervisor, appointing authority, or head of a principal unit from taking, threatening to take, or refusing to take specified personnel actions against an employee who takes specified actions; providing that a violation of specified provisions is a misdemeanor; establishing a specified penalty; prohibiting specified actions from being taken against a specified employee; authorizing an employee to provide a copy of specified complaints or grievances to any person after a specified time; etc.
