Health Insurance - Collection of Racial and Ethnic Data - Nondiscrimination

Synopsis:

Authorizing specified entities that provide health insurance to make an inquiry about race and ethnicity under specified circumstances, and subject to specified limitations; prohibiting the use of specified racial or ethnic information to deny or otherwise affect a health insurance policy or contract; and making specified provisions of law applicable to health maintenance organizations.
