Public Safety - Statewide DNA Data Base System - Sexual Offenses and Kidnapping - Sample Collection on Arrest

Synopsis:

Altering a specified provision to require the collection of a DNA sample from an individual under arrest for specified sexual offenses or kidnappings instead of from an individual convicted of a felony or specified burglary offenses; requiring a DNA sample to be collected at the facility where a specified arrest is processed; repealing a specified provision that permits the expungement of a DNA sample; etc.
