Maryland School Attendance Performance Program

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland School Attendance Performance Program to reward schools that show substantial improvement in attendance rates; requiring the Program to include specified financial rewards based on specified criteria; requiring the State Board of Education to establish guidelines for the determination of eligibility for and distribution of awards under the Program; requiring a school attendance improvement team of a recipient school to determine how specified awards shall be used, based on specified conditions; etc.
