Public Schools - Lack of Library Facilities - Required Computers

Synopsis:

Requiring any public school without a library facility to obtain and maintain a laptop computer for each student in the school; requiring a school to develop and submit a technology plan to the Department of Education; providing for the contents of the technology plan; requiring the Department, specified county boards, and specified schools to jointly determine funding to implement the technology plan; and requiring the State Board of Education to adopt regulations to implement the requirements of the Act.
