Education - Teachers - State and Local Aid Program for Certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards

Synopsis:

Including the renewal of certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards as part of the State and Local Aid Program for Certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards; increasing the maximum number of teachers who may be selected to participate in the Program from 750 to 1,000; authorizing the State Board of Education to provide aid under the Program for up to one retake of an unsuccessful entry on the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards assessment; etc.
