Repealing a requirement that the District Court issue a warrant or give notice of a hearing on a violation of a condition of probation or suspension of sentence during the period of probation; stating specified powers of a circuit court concerning a violation of a condition of probation or suspension of sentence; requiring the State to proceed with reasonable promptness and diligence to prosecute a violation of a condition of probation or suspension of sentence; requiring a hearing date to be timely; etc.
