Election Law - Voter Registration - Change of Party Affiliation

Synopsis:

Altering provisions of law governing the period when a registered voter may change party affiliation; requiring a local board to change, under specified circumstances, a voter's party affiliation at any time that registration is open; repealing the provision that permits a registered voter who has changed counties to change party affiliation during a specified period; repealing the provision that prohibits reregistration in the same county with a different party affiliation under specified circumstances; etc.
