Protective Orders and Stalking - Cruelty Toward a Pet

Synopsis:

Authorizing a court, in an interim protective order, temporary protective order, or final protective order, to order a respondent to remain away from a specified pet or to refrain from cruelty or aggravated cruelty toward the pet; changing the definition of "stalking" to include malicious conduct that puts another person in reasonable fear that a specified pet likely will suffer cruelty or aggravated cruelty; etc.
