Preakness Protection Plan
Specifying that, if legislation is enacted providing for the operation
and licensing of video lottery terminals at Pimlico Race Course, the
license to operate the terminals shall be revoked if the name, horse
racing events, or other attributes associated with the Preakness
Stakes or the Woodlawn Vase are transferred to a location outside the
State; and requiring that the Comptroller pay 0.001% of the net
proceeds from the video lottery terminals to a special fund for a
museum, equestrian center, and other specified purposes.
