Tourism Promotion Act of 2008

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Tourism Development Board to provide grants to the destination marketing organizations and financial assistance to the Office of Tourism Development; requiring the Governor to include in the annual budget bill an appropriation to the Maryland Tourism Development Board Fund; requiring the Treasurer to deposit annually into the Fund an amount derived from sales tax revenues collected on retail sale of tourist-oriented goods and services; etc.
