Health Occupations - Complementary Alternative Medicine Health Care Providers -
Scope of Practice
Providing that the provisions of the Maryland Medical Practice Act do
not prohibit individuals from administering treatments or providing
advice regarding the human body and its functions to another
individual if the individual providing the treatment or advice does
not act in a specified manner and requires the individuals receiving
the treatment or advice to sign a declaration of informed consent that
includes specified information.
