Prince George's County - Safer Roads Act of 2008

Synopsis:

Adding Prince George's County and its municipal corporations as entities where police departments may use speed monitoring systems to enforce highway speed laws; requiring Prince George's County, municipal corporations in the County, and the Comptroller to distribute specified funds in a specified manner; restricting the use of revenue generated by the Act; requiring an annual report to County officials, and a report to the General Assembly by December 31, 2012, on the effectiveness of speed monitoring systems; etc.
