Rural Broadband Communication Services - Railroads and Tributaries

Synopsis:

Exempting the installation of broadband communications infrastructure provided by a nonprofit telecommunications services provider from a specified State wetlands licensing requirement in a rural or underserved area of the State; prohibiting the Secretary of the Environment from adopting specified regulations; requiring the Maryland Transit Administration to allow without charge the use of any railroad right-of-way for the installation of specified broadband communications infrastructure; etc.
