Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Behavioral Health and Disabilities

Synopsis:

Altering the number of deputy secretaries to be appointed by the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene with the approval of the Governor; requiring the Secretary to transfer responsibility for specified administrations within the Department to the Deputy Secretary for Behavioral Health and Disabilities; requiring the Secretary to develop a system of services for individuals with co- occurring disorders, to address systems change, and to identify and implement specified treatment and supports; etc.
