Task Force on Student Physical Fitness in Maryland Public Schools

Synopsis:

Establishing a Task Force on Student Physical Fitness in Maryland Public Schools; providing for the membership and chair of the Task Force; requiring the State Department of Education to provide staff for the Task Force; requiring the Task Force to study the advisability of requiring all public schools in the State to provide a minimum amount of physical activity or physical education to students each week; requiring the Task Force to report to the Governor and the General Assembly by November 20, 2008; etc.
