Consumer Protection - Eating Utensils and Related Items - Identification of Place of Manufacture

Synopsis:

Requiring a manufacturer of eating utensils and related items sold in the State to identify the name of the manufacturer and the place of manufacture of the utensils and items on a label placed on the container or packaging in which the utensils and items are sold to consumers; providing that a violation of the Act is an unfair or deceptive trade practice under the Maryland Consumer Protection Act and subject to specified penalty and enforcement provisions; etc.
