Health Insurance - Carrier Provider Panels - Standards for Availability of Health Care Providers

Synopsis:

Requiring standards maintained by specified health insurance carriers for availability of health care providers on the carrier's provider panel to be submitted to, and approved by, the Maryland Insurance Commissioner each year; and requiring the Commissioner to require specified health insurance carriers to submit specified data to the Commissioner for review in making a specified determination and a specified assessment about the availability standards.
