Establishing a Committee on Childhood Obesity to provide specified
recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly; specifying
the membership, chair, and staff of the Committee; requiring the
Committee to study childhood obesity and report to the Governor and
the General Assembly by December 1, 2009, on insurance reimbursements
for diagnosis and treatment, statewide data, public awareness, obesity
screenings, and best and promising practices to address childhood
obesity.
