Health Insurance - Outpatient Mental Health Treatment - Elimination of Tiered Copayments

Synopsis:

Repealing specified minimum rates at which health insurance policies, contracts, and certificates must provide benefits, with respect to specified outpatient coverage, for covered expenses arising from services provided to treat mental illnesses, emotional disorders, drug abuse disorders, and alcohol abuse disorders; requiring health insurance policies, contracts, and certificates to provide specified benefits at a minimum rate of 80%, with respect to specified outpatient coverage; etc.
