Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System - Benefit Enhancement
Increasing the employee contribution rate from 4% to 6% for members of
the Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System; altering the formula
used to calculate the normal service retirement allowances of members
of the Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System as of July 1, 1998;
authorizing participating governmental units that participate in the
Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System to elect to participate in
the Alternate Contributory Law Enforcement Officers' Pension Selection
under the Act; etc.
