Entitled:
Creation of a State Debt - Montgomery County - Button Farm Historic Preservation and Rehabilitation

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt in the amount of $300,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of The Menare Foundation, Inc. for the planning, design, construction, repair, and renovation of the Button Farm, located in Germantown; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; requiring the grantee to grant and convey a perpetual preservation easement to the Maryland Historical Trust; etc.
