Electric Restructuring - Purposes and Duties of the Public Service Commission

Synopsis:

Altering and adding to the purposes of the electric restructuring law; requiring the Public Service Commission to exercise its authority to ensure that electric companies satisfy reliability needs and electricity supply needs and provide specified customers with safe and reliable electricity supply at prices that reflect a specified balance; providing the Commission with oversight over specified generating facilities; etc.
