Creation of a State Debt - Kent County - Prince Theatre

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt in the amount of $450,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of the Prince Theatre Foundation, Inc. for the acquisition, planning, construction, repair, renovation, and capital equipping of the Prince Theatre, located in Chestertown; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; requiring the grantee to grant and convey an easement to the Maryland Historical Trust; etc.
