Hospitals - Certificate of Need and Rate-Setting - High Performance Buildings

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Health Care Commission to adopt regulations for certification of need that require specified hospital projects to incorporate the requirements for a high performance building; and requiring the Health Services Cost Review Commission, in the determination of reasonable rates for each facility, to take into account the costs of hospital projects that incorporate the requirements for a high performance building.
