Synopsis:

Authorizing a sexual offender registrant to submit a specified statement to the sexual offender registry; specifying information that may be included in the statement; prohibiting specified information from being included in the statement; requiring the approval of the statement by a specified State's Attorney or designee of the State's Attorney before publication of the statement; altering the information that is posted by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services on the Internet registry; etc.
