Family Law - Maryland Quality Ratings and Improvement System for Child Care Programs

Synopsis:

Requiring the State Department of Education to establish the Maryland Quality Ratings and Improvement System (QRIS) on or before July 1, 2011; establishing specified requirements for the Maryland QRIS; clarifying the purpose of the Maryland QRIS; requiring the Department to use existing State and federal resources to fund the Maryland QRIS; allowing the funds used for the implementation of the Maryland QRIS to be used for specified purposes; etc.
