Elections - Voting System Requirements and Accommodations for Voters with Disabilities

Synopsis:

Specifying that a voting system selected and certified by the State Board of Elections shall meet federal performance and test standards; specifying an alternative entity as the certification agent for testing laboratories for voting systems in the State; altering provisions relating to accessibility standards for voting systems; authorizing the State Board to certify a specified type of voting system for disabled voters; making the Act an emergency measure; etc.
