Electric Companies - Purchase or Use of Mountaintop Coal - Prohibited
 
Prohibiting an electric company that operates a coal-fired generating
station in the State from purchasing or using coal extracted by
mountaintop removal; and requiring the Public Service Commission to
give due consideration to ensuring that an applicant complies with the
prohibition before taking final action on an application for a
certificate of public convenience and necessity for an electric
generating station.
