Health Occupations - Licensure of Physician Assistants

Synopsis:

Requiring an individual to be licensed rather than certified by the State Board of Physicians before the individual may practice as a physician assistant; prohibiting physician assistants from practicing within the scope of specified health occupations; requiring a primary supervising physician to delegate specified medical acts to licensed physician assistants; and altering procedures for the review of specified delegation agreements.
