Real Property - Residential Leases - Required Mold Assessment and Remediation

Synopsis:

Requiring a landlord, at the request of a tenant, to perform a mold assessment of the tenant's dwelling unit under specified circumstances; requiring a landlord to carry out mold remediation measures under specified circumstances; authorizing a tenant to deposit rent in an escrow account with a specified court under specified circumstances; providing for defenses in an action for rent escrow under the Act; providing for the release of money deposited in an escrow account under the Act; etc.
