Health Occupations Boards - Exemption from Hiring Freeze

Synopsis:

Providing that a health occupations board may fill a vacant contractual or permanent staff position without regard to any hiring freeze applicable to the position if the board determines that filling the position is necessary to enable the board to comply with a duty imposed on the board by statute or regulation and the cost of the position is funded from funds of the board.
