Entitled:
Public Safety - New Construction - Carbon Monoxide Alarms and Radon Detectors

Synopsis:

Requiring the installation of carbon monoxide detectors and radon detectors in residential dwellings that are to be constructed on or after January 1, 2010; establishing specified minimum technical standards for the detectors; requiring the detectors to be installed and maintained in accordance with specified standards; prohibiting a radon detector from being rendered inoperable, subject to a specified exception; etc.
